Sea Days & Barcelona

It was really nice having 2 days at sea on the end of our trip to recharge, reorganize (pack), and relax. The boys were thrilled to get to swim more on the boat. Everyone was sad to leave, particularly Jack, who wanted to stay forever. But what a trip! And what memories! We can't thank Mia and Bop enough. The boys each got small ship replicas of our boat and they held on to them tightly most of the day and night. We took a 50 passenger bus from the port to our hotel in Barcelona (maybe our shortest bus ride of the trip), but I just found it funny and wanted to remember my chuckle. We stayed right off of La Rambla. Our flight home was delayed so we ended up staying two nights in Barcelona. That was another adventure! It was the first time all 5 of us slept in the same room! Mary Lee thought it was a huge party and the boys just fed into her antics. It was one of those times when as a parents you have to be firm but on the inside you are cracking up. In Barcelona we took the kids to the aquarium which they loved. The boys also got to ride on a cable car over the city. We ate pizza once again as we were going for a record I think: most days in a row feeding your children pizza. A record which might be tied with number of days in a row we fed our children chicken fingers... And they don't seem any less healthy :) I finished off our last evening with a glass of sangria (well half a glass as it was huge). Perfect!

All dressed up for formal night (round 2).

It was quite the party!
Pool time on the ship!

Last dinner on board. Sweet Asher!

In the glass elevators on the ship - the boys' favorite!
