The French Riviera

The French Riviera is not nearly as glamorous with 5 kids and four strollers in tow, but beautiful nonetheless. We saw beautiful seas full of magnificent yachts. I can't imagine what it would be like to sail around the Mediterranean in such a boat. Cannes actually reminded me some of Venice with its cobblestone alleys, sweet balconies overlooking narrow streets with plenty of flowers, and outdoor dining. We ate lunch at one such place. We spent the day walking and enjoying the atmosphere. The weather was quite warm. There was lots of great shopping. We mostly looked from the windows as we are just warming up.  Scott ventured to the casino in Cannes at mid afternoon while the rest of us headed back for naps and swimming before dinner. All in all a fabulous first full day! Mary Lee took to stroller sitting quite well and napped twice. I think we shall have no problems from her :)
