Roma

Another hot day in Italy, but with a better driver we were able to do some sightseeing: St. Peter's Square, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. Jack was impressed that he saw buildings that existed in Jesus' time. Despite the heat we enjoyed walking the streets of Rome, eating lunch in a great little restaurant sort of off the main tourist path, and of course another afternoon gelato. I think I was meant to live in Italy! :) The children are a bit whiny in the heat, but hey so are the mommies and daddies :) Michael and Dana arrived safely on board this afternoon so all is well and our party is complete! Spain won the Eurocup this evening... We had been looking forward to celebrating with the Italians tomorrow if Italy had won :(
