Christmas 2008

A crazy busy day as usual for us.  We celebrated no less than 5 times on Christmas day with various groups of family, but we still found time for an afternoon nap at Mia and Bop's house (thank goodness!)

Jack was a master present opener for himself and others!

Jack led the parade of grandchildren (and himself, the lone great-grandchild so far) at Grammy and Grampy's house by ringing his small hand bells and belting out the tune, "Jingle Bells," for all the hear.  It was a precious moment, but not surprising for Jack who sings more songs in a day than most music teachers.

Before bed on Christmas Eve, Mommy, Daddy, and Jack put out cookies and a water bottle for Santa and Rudolph.  When we woke Jack up on Christmas morning (sleepyhead Jack), he popped right up and said, " Go see Santa and Rudolph?"  He knows and he believes.  Jack was in awe of the crumbs left on the plate, the half empty water bottle, and our Christmas tree that was covered in candy canes.  Jack believes that Santa gives candy canes, and he was thrilled to see our tree loaded with them.  Santa brought Jack a potty chair in hopes of inspiring him to use the potty more than just before bed and naps.
