Two years and counting...

As a 2 year old, you have moved up to the "big kid" room at school where you are the youngest in the class.  Unfortunately you still cry nearly every morning when Mommy says goodbye, but lately there have been tear-free days.  You are fascinated by the little potty in your classroom and you sit on it sometimes (without success.)  Lots of the other kids use it all the time though. You prefer to use your Elmo potty chair at home only before bedtime (if we are lucky.)  We celebrate every time though!  You love music class at school.  When you get home, you can nearly repeat the entire lesson to us including the greeting the teacher uses (because all of it is sung).

You took your first wagon ride last week when we had a semi-warm day and loved it.  We plan to do more when it gets warmer.  You still love the Christmas lights Grandpa put up for us on the back deck.  Mommy and Daddy cannot bear to take them down (yes it is February!) but you get SO excited every night when they come on - "Lights came on!!"

You are a real blessing to your extremely tired mother these days and take really good naps so I can rest too.  Thank you!  You insist that the baby in mommy's tummy is a little sister - and your story has not changed once.  Sometimes after you eat dinner and your belly is sticking out you tell us that you have a baby in your tummy too.

Jack you are full of love and laughter everyday and you make our lives so rich.  We love you very much.

Jack your new word of the week is "mischievous" and oh do you have fun trying to act it out!!!
