Jack lost his first tooth while we were in FL. We were driving home from lunch at the Lazy Flamingo. After much research (by Scott) into the current going rate, the tooth was carefully placed under the pillow and behold 8 quarters appeared by morning. Jack's second tooth fell out a few days later while we were in Atlanta. Jack, being his smart, sneaky self, decided not to tell anyone, and he was confused when the tooth fairy did not visit him at Grandma and Grandpa's house. So, being the intelligent child he is, he secretly placed the tooth under his pillow in his room at our hosue, but since we were away and he was not staying at our house, again no visit from the tooth fairy. Jack comes to Scott very concerned, and we, the quick thinking parents, (OK, Scott texts me at work in a panic) tell him that he must let his parents know when he has lost a tooth so that we can be sure the tooth fairy gets the message. You know there are a lot of children in this world who lose teeth every day...
When did this little guy grow up? I almost do a double take every day when I look at him. And then I usually marvel in the person he is growing up to be.
