Two words... FUN TIMES.
When Scott proposed the idea (while we were on vacation in Sanibel) of flying home from FL (we got up at 3 am), arriving in Louisville at 10 am, repacking the bags, grabbing a quick nap, taking the boys to Lego Kidsfest (in Louisville at 4 pm), and then driving to Atlanta that same evening at 9 pm....I almost said no, but.... yeah we are crazy!!!

Good times with great friends pretty much sums up our 3 days in Atlanta. We were fortunate to be able to spend time with some dear old high school friends along with my college roommate, and also manage to squeeze in a little family time. It was all a little nuts, but definitely worth the memories! Part of Scott's case for going included a statistical analysis performed by his PhD buddy that went something like this, "the likelihood of UL making it to the championship game again statistically speaking would be when we are 67 years old." I am not a math person but this was enough to convince me!

When we were not at the games, we really enjoyed our time with Mary, Joshua, and Augie. Thank so much to them for having us in their home all weekend.
The playgrounds in Atlanta are pretty numerous and fun!

Mary Lee loves all animals, but she was particularly fond of the Gooch.

They really hit it off well.

Ice cream date. Might just be the best ice cream I've ever had actually.
