Mia's Safari 60th

When one can't exactly make it on safari for her 60th, why not bring the safari (and lots more!) to her?!!?
A true effort of love by all made for one very special evening for Mom/Mia/Jane, complete with surprise visits from all of her out of town children, everyone dressed as animals on safari, the house decorated in full, 60(!) presents, and a clever scavenger hunt that ended with a diamond. It was an evening full of love, and what family is truly all about in life. So grateful for my family and this special one I married into.

Waiting anxiously for Mia to arrive
Crazy amounts of decorations

SURPRISE!! And suddenly we heard lions roaring (it's Kyle and Sabrina!!)

Opening one of her first presents...a video birthday message from Michael and Dana who quietly sneaked in wearing their monkey suits. I'm not going to lie, I had tears in my eyes when she realized they had come all the way from Bali to be here with her.
Mia and all her grandkids

Scott put together these two incredible photo collages for his Mom. A family treasure for sure.
That's a lot of presents! Mia was still opening two days after the party...

Somehow Hippo + Elephant = two rhinos and the cutest baby elephant ever!
Wild Party Animals!!!

Happy 60th Mia!!
