It is pretty much unheard of (I think), but TWO snow days in December in Louisville!?! It really could not have been more perfect. It was fun to spend extra time at home with all the kids with the excitement of Christmas building in the house... not to mention playing in the snow!!

The cold weather resulted in two water pipe breaks on our street in one week's time. We were melting snow on the stove at one point to flush the toilets while the water was turned off. Always an adventure!!
