A Special Dinner with Grammy & Grampy

On the Saturday before Christmas we had dinner with Grammy and Grampy. It was a nice dinner highlighted by a gift for each person from Grammy and Grampy, a gift that they selected, something small that belonged to them that we could keep and remember them by always.  It was an evening of mixed emotions, but mostly love, as we celebrated and gave thanks together for the season, for family, and for Grammy and Grampy.  What a blessing!

Jack and Calvin received "treasure boxes" that belonged to Grampy.

This box was for Mary Lee. It has her great grandmother's (and her's) initials on it.

Scott received a neat old scale used to weigh mail for postage. Grammy and Grampy bought it on one of their many trips over seas. I received a small gold turtle pin as turtles are something Grammy enjoyed collecting.
Grampy teaches Calvin about the church and the steeple.
