In addition to the playground right next to our house, we went to two other parks/playgrounds this weekend that Jack had never been to before. Some of Jack's favorite playground activities:
- the slide - he went down this particular slide probably 20 times in a row - right back up the steps as soon as he go to the bottom of the slide!
- the "wiggle machine" - I have no idea what this is really called - it's a big wooden platform on heavy-duty springs. You stand or sit on it, and it wiggles around - sorta like a less-bouncy trampoline
- the swing - it was nearing nap time, and thus time to leave the playground. You could see in his eyes that he was getting very sleepy. But, Jack was having so much fun just relaxing in the swing! We kept asking him "OK, Jack - ready to go home and eat lunch & take a nap?" and he would sign "more, more" - he just wanted more swinging! We think he really wanted to take his nap for the day on the swing at the playground!
- music-making chimes - he really likes the chimes (?) that make sounds when he bangs on them with a stick. I think we might have a future musician on our hands...
